Ever wondered what a Busan Korean Fine Dine looks like? Check out Oouli .Saw this all over my IG and knew I had to try! This restaurant was founded by a chef who has 18 years of cooking experience in Busan; chef Jim Kim wanted to recreate the authentic taste to Hong Kong. Saw this all over my IG and knew I had to try! This restaurant was founded by a chef who has 18 years of cooking experience in Busan; chef Jim Kim wanted to recreate the authentic taste to Hong Kong. When you first enter the restaurant, you are greeted with high ceilings of an expansive window overseeing Victoria Park and a bit of harbour view. We got the 4 course lunch set - that was filled with their fresh seafood and more importantly rice from his farm in Busan. The first course: Deul Kkae - Jeuk (traditional style congee) was so flavourful and delicious. I would love to eat this porridge almost every morning! I also loved the main course, I got the Grill Hanwoo Beef - which is Australian wagyu with their homemade carrots puree. The presentation of this dish was so beautiful - the carrots puree were formed as mandarin oranges 🍊. The highlight of the meal was of course JinSu - Sung Chen which was his farm’s rice with eel soup - paired with 5 banchans. I actually mixed the banchan with his rice and soup - and what an explosion of different flavours. His rice is also one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend checking out their lunch menu!
