Had dinner with my girlfriend for celebration of Valentine’s Day at Palco. A piece of crispy chicken skin is placed under sea urchin and salmon roe which are both very fresh. The tuna tartar and avocado are always a perfect combination. Having a piece of rice chip to hold the tartar provides some sort of texture and enrich the experience.
Hokkaido king crab with tomato foam and seafood jelly
The taste is what you would normally expect from crab salad with avocado. But presenting tomato in foam with some edible flowers on top is visually gratifying.
Italian style lobster bisque with caviar
As soon as the bisque was poured in front of us from the tea pot, our noses are blessed with the rich aroma from the lobster bisque. Unlike ordinary lobster bisque which is of a more creamy texture, the texture of this one is more like lobster stock. But WE LOVE THAT!! It smells excellent and tastes excellent too (we often find the lobster bisque of many restaurants smells nice but tastes ordinarily. But Palco’s lobster bisque does not disappoint us at all). It is something which is not to be missed.
Orange sorbet
I am rather surprised for this one. Having a fruity sorbet before the main course makes us have our appetite again. It is a very thoughtful arrangement!

Hakata strawberry three ways
Again, the presentation is really beautiful. It’s always good to have some sweet yet sour dessert to conclude a satisfying dinner.
We both agree that Palco is a very nice place to enjoy some dedicated food with exceptionally reasonable price. We will definitely visit it again
