I tried almost all restaurants at The Murray Hotel and Popinjays was the last one that I wanna try for long. It was at the top floor of the hotel. The decor of the restaurant is very nice. When you go up to the top floor and changed to another lift to go to Popinjays, it was a good surprised when the lift door had opened. It's bright, cozy and modern. I already felt delighted when I stepped in the restaurant. We were arranged to sit on a couch and it was comfortable. We had the semi-buffet lunch
We had the semi-buffet lunch. The food at the buffet bar was so so. It's very standard one. It doesn't serve anything special or give you a good memory of good taste. It's quite interesting that they serve tangerine at the semi-buffet bar.. I ordered beef for the set and again, the taste was very standard.
The semi-buffet didn't come with any drinks. After discount, it was around $560 per person. It wasn't very expensive but considering the standard of the food, I don't think I will come here again. I guess I can get a much better lunch in other hotel restaurant. It's just good if this is the first time.
