and where is "ned kelly"?

met a friend for drinks in here for a short while before we went dinner last night. i've been checking out this place's menu at the door for a few times but this was actually the first time me going in. i think few locals know who Ned Kelly is, right? i am not erally aussie but perhaps i can explain a bit here. met a friend for drinks in here for a short while before we went dinner last night. i've been checking out this place's menu at the door for a few times but this was actually the first time me going in. i think few locals know who Ned Kelly is, right? i am not erally aussie but perhaps i can explain a bit here. Back in the 1900s - 1940s Australia was a convict, i.e. a huge "prison" for the British. Ned Kelly is one of the prisoners in some place in australia (can't remember was he in tasmania or somewhere in outback queensland). he is the most famous prisoner of all times coz he managed to escape the most highly secured prison back in those days. he is recogonised with the face mask which he was locked and stuck in it for most of his life. In the bistro here in tst, you find images of ned in this mask on the wall. yet there isn't much other decloration that would remind you of the famous prisoner (though you really got lotsa big-belly aussies drinking in there). food is not expensive compared to similar places in tst and it's not too crowded. i read that it's jazz night there on Thursday but i didn't get to join in the fun. think i'm going back for a second time for the jazz night.
