Quite good to find another dessert place that is not so traditional with the sweet soups and red beans.Ordered the tri-coloured grass jelly, a mix of clear, white and black, the clear ones are basically agar jelly, and the white ones have a slight almond banana taste, and the black or the original ones. Lemon water chestnut: never tried water chestnut with bits of egg, but this time gave it a try with lemon, all because of lemon, I was surprised it wasnt nastily sweet. The water chestnuts were there, giving it a crunchy note, however it could be improved because they can be peeled better instead of leaving the brown skin on it.
The lemon was not really strong, only the bitter rind taste, I think if real lemon juice was extracted and mixed it with it would taste more lemoney.
Glutinous rice and ice-cream, just the ususal taste, with the coldness and sweetness from the ice-cream.
