There seems to be many new bakeries opening in CWB lately. This time, it’s the Japanese truffle focused bakery from Tokyo. When I arrived at the shop, it was just past noon and there was a short queue outside the shop. It was manageable as I waited only 15 minutes for my turn. When I arrived at the shop, it was just past noon and there was a short queue outside the shop. It was manageable as I waited only 15 minutes for my turn.
I ordered their famed white truffles bun ($23) and the black truffles egg sandwich ($39). The egg sandwiches were being kept at the fridge counter at the checkout to keep them fresh.

Black truffles Egg sandwich- one could smell the unique aroma of the truffles once I opened the wrapper of the sandwich. It’s not a pungent intrusive kind of aroma but rather, a gentle truffles fragrance which was a good sign. Due to its unique flavour and aroma, truffles particularly truffles oil are hard to manoeuvre and if done wrong, one could easily ruin the food in question. In this instance, the egg with the truffles dressing was well balanced and the bread was a delight to have as it was pillowy soft. Overall, very satisfying and I enjoyed every mouthful . 
White truffle bun - for a bun costing $23, it looked rather small!!! The fragrance of the white truffle was just right but I found the bread rather chewy and overall rather underwhelming. To me, the black truffles egg sandwich fared way better than the white truffles bun. The people at the service counter were polite and efficient.
