They've now changed the setting of the restaurant to include a buffet meal set. Also the kimchi/ other banchan (akappetizers) are placed on a self-serving counter at the entrance for customers to access and refill.I brought 3 of my friends to the restaurant. I brought 3 of my friends to the restaurant. The first thing that we ordered was an army base stew. Nice kimchi broth (not spicy in my opinion) with a generous amount of enoki mushrooms. They placed a pack of instant noodles in the broth which was nice but nothing special. The only thing that I did not enjoy was the abundant amount of spam in the stew. My friends and I were not a big fan of spam and would prefer a meat less artificial in the dish.
We also ordered the fried chicken ladles with melted cheese. The portion is a bit small for the price but it tasted good. It would be even better if the chicken was spiced with more unique flavours but we enjoyed the dish anyways.
The third dish that we ordered was the Rice in stone pot with assorted vegetables and beef. The sizzling of the hot stone cooking the rice was very appetising. It was quite nice but can be a bit boring if not shared amongst a few people.
It was a filling meal and we enjoyed the dining atmosphere.
