I started my dining experience at Simplylife ever since my undergraduate life, so it's like how many years ago...Anyway, its transition from a bakery-oriented cafe to a full spectrum restaurant is so successful, which there always is a line outside.Chanterelle w/ Potato & Black Truffle Pizza (6/10):Not bad, but I don't think a girl could eat it up, it's a good dish to share.Potatoes are thinly-sliced, with onions and cheese, just can't have it wrong with this combination!Tagliatelle w/ wild mush

Potatoes are thinly-sliced, with onions and cheese, just can't have it wrong with this combination! Tagliatelle w/ wild mushrooms & truffle cream sauce (6/10):
The creamy sauce and mushrooms added lots of flavour to the dish, if you are not a mushroom-lover, better not try this LOL; again, it's better to share instead of eating up alone, the white sauce could make one surrender soon. Banana tart (7/10):
I have tried a couple of desserts from the store, and if you think "Banana pie" is too much, go for this and you won't regret. The brownie part is very nicely made!
If you still think these maybe too sweet, you could get the "Blueberry sesame cake", I didn't have the photo but it's nice either!
Others:
The best "soup of the day" goes to "Pumpkin soup", the others are kinda bland when matching with the breads. The orange iced tea is so-so, not much to expect anyway.
Overall
Food:
Well I may have biases, since I'm a frequent customer, still I would recommend the store to everyone
Service:
Busy restaurant, but they do attend your requests, just don't expect smiling faces
Environment:
it's noisy, but it's basically the same for most of the shops facing the ice rink in Festival Walk
題外話/補充資料:
I overhead some complaints when lining up for brunch at weekend.
The long queue is not news, so if you don't want to line up, just go to the store for lunch at weekdays, it's much cheaper (at least 15-20% less than brunch)
