What caught my attention and attracted me to go into this shop was the stone utensil placed in the front of the shop. It is filled with dried chilli peppers, so you can actually experience the pounding of chilli peppers for making the "numbing" type hot & spicy. My partner and I went during afternoon tea hours and the shop had a good level of customers enjoying their meals given the less busy time frame. The shop has very high ceiling, so it gives you the comfort for enjoying your food. What
There is a TV in the shop which repeatedly plays a video that gives you background information of the shop owner and the shop. The shop owner was a former owner of a contractor firm. After he closed the firm, he flew to Szechuan to learn and to master the skills of making numbing spicy paste. Anyone who enjoys spicy food like myself should really pay a visit to this shop. You will not regret.
