Pic 1️⃣: Biang Biang Noodles with Vegetables - $52 hkd 🌶 — Look at that noodle pull 😍 This is actually just one long noodle piece, and just look at how well it holds onto all the sauce and spices! The noodle text was really chewy and perfectly cooked. I ordered medium level spice which was perfect for me but there’s the option to go up or down a few levels depending on how well you can tolerate spice. The chili oil was super aromatic and leaves you wanting more after every bite. Personally thought

The chili oil was super aromatic and leaves you wanting more after every bite. Personally thought it could’ve done with a bit more soy sauce/savouriness to it as the spice was the dominant flavour.
Pic 2️⃣: 金沙骨祕製麻辣湯麵 / Secret Recipe Spicy Noodles with Sichuan Peppers Soup with Spare Ribs - $54 hkd 🍜
— Another amazing noodle dish and the broth was so delicious! Although we opted for a mild spice level, it didn’t affect the richness of the broth at all. The broth was insanely rich and addicting with a perfect level of savouriness to it. The spare ribs were quite tender and absorbed all the goodness of the soup. The noodles were slightly overcooked and too soft for my preference though.
Pic 3️⃣&4️⃣: 腊汁肉夾膜 / Shanxi Style Pita Bread with Stewed Pork - $28 hkd 🐷
— One of my favourite Shanxi dishes! The stewed pork was so flavourful and tasted heavily of a mix of spices which I loved! The meat was also very tender and juicy. The pita bread was nicely toasted to a crispy exterior whilst the inside was still nice and soft.
