This Sunday we came across this Thai place located at Prince Edward and decided to give it a go. The place smelled incredible and we were very excited to try their dishes. It was a very spacious place and we were luckily seated at a huge booth which I appreciated.
Spicy Thai Salad with Grapefruit and ShrimpFor starters, we simply could not resist ordering this refreshing appetizer as Thai salad has such rich flavor and strong spiciness that could not be found in typical western salads. The grapefruit matched very well with the shrimps and it was certainly very enjoyable and opened up our appetites.
Green curry with Chicken and naanWe love green curry a lot so this is certainly a must-order every time we have Thai food. It turned out to be we expected and more, as the taste was so good and the portion was very generous. We took it together with the Thai styled naan and they complemented each other well.
Another signature must-order must the Seafood Tom Yum Soup. It is best served boiling hot and so do be reminded to finish the soup first before every thing else. The first sip of Tom Yum is always the best thing ever and it's no difference this time. There were some squid and shrimps in the soup and the portion was reasonable.
Drinks - Coconut Water and Lime Soda
Certainly wise choices as both are signature Thai drinks and absolutely refreshing. The Coconut was very fresh with a lot of coconut meat inside.
Dessert - Coconut Sago Cake
This famous Thai dessert looked so cute and tasted very nice as well. The portion was just about right and the texture was very soft and creamy. It was a pity as there were no mangoes the day we visited so we were not able to try out their mango sticky rice, but we will attempt again for sure in the future!
