Wanted to come here for quite a long time now. Was especially intrigued by the name of the restaurant. As a noob with locations, I thought it would be a hole in the wall around some dark alley. Found it fairly quickly since I pass by often without the realization that it was the restaurant. Showed up 20 minutes early and had to sit at the bar area while waiting for our table. My friends ordered the “Lee Spritz” (4.5/5 rating), “S.O.S” (3/5 rating) and I ordered, “At Twenty-Four” (0.5/5 rating).

My friends ordered the “Lee Spritz” (4.5/5 rating), “S.O.S” (3/5 rating) and I ordered, “At Twenty-Four” (0.5/5 rating). Yikes. My drink consisted of Old Tom Gin, Fernet-Branca, Beer, Osmanthus Syrup - tasted like 95% syrup.
We got our table around the time we originally booked for. They informed us to order the best-seller ”lo mai chi” as it would take an hour to make. We also ordered the lobster (2/5 rating) which was a big disappointment. The size looked like a baby lobster, and the sauce was overly seasoned with black pepper. To the point where you would cough. It also came with some buns and a sweet dipping sauce? Which was average at best. The fries (4.5/5 rating) were covered in cheese, salty egg yolk flakes and some seasoning in the side. Was delicious but can you go wrong with chips? We also ordered the fried chicken appetizer (4.5/5 rating) which came with some wasabi dipping sauce. Don't get greedy with the sauce! It burned! Seafood clay pot rice (4/5 rating) did not taste Chinese. Tasted more like a seafood paella! Still good though. When the lo mai chi (3/5 rating) came out, we were highly disappointed. Legit was just a big chicken with two abalones. Barely any rice. Was not worth the one hour wait.
Overall, the dishes were small regarding portion. The staff were pretty attentive but did not refill water even once. Vibes are pretty chill and probably should have taken more photos but oh well. Bill came out to be around $1800 for three people. Drinks aren't the cheapest, and we had 5 in total which makes sense. Probably would give this place another chance minus the drinks.
