As we booked in advance, we did not have to wait, but there were a lot of people waiting during lunch hour even on a weekday. I'd advise booking in advance.Personally, I think this restaurant is quite overpriced and the food quality does not justify its price. The Earl Grey Pancake came last and we were a bit disappointed, considering it was Butlery's signature. There was nothing special or memorable about it.
