I also had some terrible experience dining at this restaurant about a month ago. The service attitude of the waiters there is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!My boss and I entertained our corporate clients (from Mainland China) and invited them to have dinner in this restaurant. We had altogether 6 people, and we ordered the usual stuff(such as shark fin soup, abalone, BBQ duck & roasted pig etc.) plus 3 bottles of expensive red wine(almost HK$1200 each). We had altogether 6 people, and we ordered the usual stuff(such as shark fin soup, abalone, BBQ duck & roasted pig etc.) plus 3 bottles of expensive red wine(almost HK$1200 each). At the end, we asked for the bill and it turned out to be around HK$14,000.
Usually in a situation like this, I pay first and my BIG boss will approve this company expense later in the office. So I asked for the bill and checked out the items listed on the bill. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS WAITER(an older man in his early 50s) MUMBLE by my side???
"Why checking the details?? You don't really pay for it yourself. It is company expenses anyway!!!" My boss and I looked at each other, and I decided not to pay any extra tips. Then the waiter immediately looked upset on his face and of course did not even say "Thank You".
