Compare and contrast the WAN Chai Coffee Academics branch with this sad excuse for a coffee shop. The WAN Chai branch is an easy 8/10. This branch is a generous 1/10. 1. No eye contact or greeting for over 2 minutes2. Place looks like a cheap cafe with stuff and boxes all over the place3. “Oven” looked like one of those ovens you find in the shrimp catching places. Horrible, burned, dirty. 4. “chef” handling cooked and raw items without washing hands. Putting the resultant mess into this “oven”
1. No eye contact or greeting for over 2 minutes

5. I really wanted a coffee and was prepared to overlook it and then… another two minutes went by and nothing. No eye contact, no greeting - not even a grunt.
I turned around and left. Stopped by at Pret on Electric Road. Proper staff, clean, nice food, friendly. If I could give 0 stars I would do so. Avoid at all costs.
