What an experience! Hard to know where to begin - I loved absolutely everything about this new cafe in Wan Chai.1. Drinks - great selection of coffee and tea, signature coffee as well as their hojicha latte are both must-try and what I love about this place is how forward thinking and environmentally conscious they are, for example NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for alternative plant-based milk options!! @ me if you find another cafe in Hong Kong that doesn't charge +HKD5 (or even a ridiculous +HKD8!!) fo
1. Drinks - great selection of coffee and tea, signature coffee as well as their hojicha latte are both must-try and what I love about this place is how forward thinking and environmentally conscious they are, for example NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for alternative plant-based milk options!! @ me if you find another cafe in Hong Kong that doesn't charge +HKD5 (or even a ridiculous +HKD8!!) for oat/almond/soy milk... yes I'll wait.
2. Food - two words DELICIOUS and HEALTHY. you can taste and smell the premium ingredients that's used in all their dishes (take their cool take on the traditional all day breakfast for instance). My girlfriend and I especially enjoyed the bacon and egg croissant, to die for! Also heard there's a WAFFLE WEDNESDAY promotion that may be coming out, was told to stay tuned!
3. Décor/Ambience - beautiful décor and vibrant environment, according to the staff they change their floral design every season (hence their slogan a "scent for every season"). Even for someone who doesn't enjoy taking photos, I couldn't resist taking a few snaps of my surroundings so that says something. Also noticed a lot of patrons walking around the floral station and asking a lot of questions / making purchases.
4. Service - staff was super friendly, enthusiastic and very receptive to feedback. They were helpful in explaining the food and drink options and very knowledgeable about the variety of cakes and pastries they had on offer. I mentioned they seemed to have a disproportionate amount of male wait staff, and was assured by the owner that this was something they were working on and more female wait staff would be coming on board shortly.
5. Value - given the quality and all round amazing dining experience, the food and drinks were affordable and fairly priced. You definitely get what you pay for AND some.
Only criticism I have is that the cafe is not pet-friendly, so I was unfortunately not able to bring my pet Japanese Spitz to come along to also enjoy the seasonal scents (he would have loved it!!). Hoping the next Natura store will be pet-friendly!
Look forward to visiting again - it's probably going to be my go-to spot to take my girlfriend, friends, and anyone who likes nice coffee/tea, creative food and quality service. FIVE STARS!
