Where do start? I went to the Yau Ma Tei store on Sunday for lunch and it was delicious so I decided to take my family here for lunch yesterday. Kimchi and sides were super salty and not tasty. Service was bad. Taste of food was also not up to standard. The menus clearly state no service charge on weekdays for lunch, therefore I chose the lunch bbq set promotion. Only after seeing the bill and asking staff why there is service charge they told me bbq needs service charge even though it did not say that. For drinks it says lunch +$15 however I was charged $30 because although I ordered their ‘lunch bbq set’ it doesn’t count as lunch? Hmm 😀Really….🤔 The pricing is very misleading.

Also even though they don’t serve hot drinks to order I don’t understand how you don’t have a plastic cup that can hold hot water. We were given the tiniest paper cups with hot water….how ridiculous. The meat was cooked at a little table next to the cashier counter and not at our table (whattttt) even though there is a hot plate on the table that you can clearly see in the photos and the meat was way overcooked and dry. The rice cake side was overcooked to mush. The pancake was thick and stodgy. Absolutely avoid….go to another branch. Such a waste of money!!!!!!
