Visited this bar on the afternoon of 1 July 2014, was tired after walking through the protests. There were two other tables during this quiet afternoon and the waitress pointed to any table to sit in.Ordered a beer and margarita, the waitress says for the margarita only strawberry flavor is available. Ordered a beer and margarita, the waitress says for the margarita only strawberry flavor is available. Friend said fine. The beer comes first and 5 mins later the waiter, who is a man, brings a bill listing the prices of the drinks we ordered before the margarita came. The margarita came and the best way to describe it, was made by a child or a beginner. Sugar was used instead of salt on the tip of the glass but even then, my friend and I just let it be.
Now when we finished the drinks, we paid the money based on the bill that the waiter gave. On the way out, the waiter chases my friend and I saying we didn't pay the right amount as the bill didn't include service charge. Why the heck was that bill given in the first place, especially when we didn't ask for the bill and not all drinks arrived?
This experience was so bad that I had to create an account in Openrice and write a review. While it is a beautifully decorated bar for football fans and our visit may be during quiet hours, the service was not acceptable. I wonder if it is worse during peak hours and during football matches.
