I decided to try this place this weekend as I work close by.The Good: the waitress confirmed the type of noodles we wanted for our pho Now the Bad: we ordered one appetizer and two phos (for two people). Now the Bad: we ordered one appetizer and two phos (for two people). For the appetizer, we ordered a fried spring roll (the most common Vietnamese appetizer and the first item on their list). The waitress came back and informed us that they did not have spring rolls and for us to pick something else. So I picked the 4th item on the list, and again they did not have it. The waitress informed us that they have everything else other than my first two choices. So eventually, we decided to order a summer roll.
Our two phos came and our Vietnamese coffee. We were there for around 40 minutes (as we were trying to decide on our honeymoon destination) and when we finished our pho... we realized our summer roll never came and we spoke to the staff and said we no longer wanted it since we are done with our meals. The staff said it will come in 1 minute. It took a few back and forth for him to agree to cancel our appetizer.
The Vietnamese coffee - I can’t speak on the taste since my bf drank it but the presentation is not authentic. I always expect the condensed milk to be already at the bottom of the cup with the hot coffee on top, but at this restaurant they bring you the condensed milk in to a tube for you to put in yourself, and since it’s not sitting in the hot coffee it doesn’t melt in or blend well.
