I walk-in on Friday night. It’s was full house but they gave us a (looks like a temporary table) near the kitchen entrance. Behind our table was a partitioned section for a private table. The private table was talking very loud. We order a set dinner on what seems like their recommended menu. It was 298 for a groupa and vegetable dish, a very good deal. The set didn’t specify the fish was fried and not steam (steam fish takes more skills and it’s more common and popular at seafood restaurants).

The set didn’t specify the fish was fried and not steam (steam fish takes more skills and it’s more common and popular at seafood restaurants). I ask her if it was steam but the waitress didn’t reply so I assume the norm is to use the steam cooking method. When the fish arrived it was fried and cover with bean curds. Which is fine and I accept it was partly my fault for not specifying and double confirming with her. But the taste of the fish meat was awful. It’s not fresh and the waitress admitted when I ask her why it taste funny. (FYI, steam fish require fresh or alive fish while they prolly use a long dead fish for frying). Anyway I don’t mind paying more but the menu and staff are deceiving. I will not recommend anyone to come here. There are way better seafood restaurants nearby for the same price.
