4 of us for dinner. We BYOB, server said would waive the $200 corkage if we ordered a bottle from them. However since wine list was reasonable, we ended up just ordering 2 bottles of Chianti Classico ($450). Good value for money. For food- ordered the French quail, fried calamari and grilled squid as appetizers. For pastas ordered the beef cheek rigatoni (highly recommended by server) and crab fettuccine. As main course we shared the prime beef short rib and sea bream with sweet potato fries as side. Wanted to try the butternut squash purée as well but they ran out.
Out of the appetisers I liked the squid best. It was cooked just right, meat was tender, not rubbery at all. Too bad it was spicy (not specified on menu).

Calamari’s batter was too thick.

Quail was served in skewer form, not too spicy for me even if sprinkled with 7 spices. About medium done, meat was tender.

Beef cheek rigatoni was very yummy - rigatoni I didn’t normally like (cos too hard and big for me), but this one was done perfectly al dente, loved the texture- chewy but not hard. Balanced well with the beef cheek and peppers.

I don’t eat crab so can’t comment. Tried a bit of fettuccini- went well with the tomato sauce.

Prime rib was ok- good quality beef with lots of fat. I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t stuffed myself with the rigatoni and fries.

Still room for dessert- shared the cannoli and mascarpone mousse.
Cannoli was disappointing, I was expecting more crunchiness.

Mascarpone mousse was ok, but didn’t realize the brown bits scattered over the plate were espresso cake until I looked at the menu.

In summary, good place for casual dining. Highly recommend the beef cheek rigatoni and sweet potato fries.
