I bought a Groupbuy voucher whereby I paid $48 for $80 worth of food and drink (excluding alcohol). I had walked by here previously as I had planned to eat at Artisan Cafe and was not up for a burger at the time. But it had peaked my interest as I'm always on the look out for a good burger place so I bought the voucher to give it a try.The layout has a bar on one side and seating on the other side. Menu was simple. They served various burgers (beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian). They also had salads, smoothies, wine and an extensive craft beer list.
I chose a strawberry smoothie and an all day breakfast because I really don't like the taste of beer and I had a reallly bad headache the night before and had slept for over 12 hours and it was definitely an all day breakfast day. Also, I noted the all day breakfast included a mini hamburger.
Sorry for the out of focus photo. I thought it was in focus when I took it. This is the strawberry smoothie ($48). Size was a bit smaller than most other places but then those other places I could never finish them, so I guess it was good enough trade off for me. The waitress (who was amazingly friendly and chatty) asked me what I thought. And I'll write here exactly what I told her. There was a strong strawberry taste, a sign they did use fresh fruit. However, it was too watery and not thick enough. I knew it was too watery even before I took a sip as I saw a layer of water on top. This is due to the use of too much ice. I noted when I finished my smoothie, I was sucking ice at the end and there was still a huge chunk of ice that wasn't battered away by the blender. I gave her a tip on how to make a good smoothie without ice. I hope she reports back to the chef and gives them this bit of advice to improve on the smoothie.

I had to take a photo of the selection of the craft beers they had. Some selections I had not seen before. They had some limited Christmas edition craft beers as well. I showed this to boyfriend later and he said the hazelnut one looked interesting. I was told by the waitress that it was a favorite of hers, too. So, if you're into quality craft beers, this is the place to go.
I told boyfriend and showed him the beer selections. He seemed interested enough as it's two things he loves. Beer and burgers. So, I assume I'll be back. Service was really friendly and chatty. There is room for improvement and I hope they do improve.
