Having visited this place exactly one year ago to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday for dinner, I have been wanting to come to try their famous semi-brunch for long!

It’s Christmas and winter solstice! What’s better than celebrating both occasions with the best brunch in HK — the steakhouse! Killing two birds in one stone! Why not?!

Booking three weeks in advance, I was pretty hyped about the whole dining experience. After all, it will mark my first day of holiday too!

And this is probably one of the best choices I have made for doing so to start my holiday
The whole dining experience was divine!

Starting from the service, we were warmly greeted by the hospitable staff who would thoughtfully move our chairs (which were honestly too heavy but comfy), introduce the mustard and menus to us.

And the Christmas decorations were on point as well! It was very festive
I would say they have done a pretty good job in putting their customers into the festive mood with the gigantic Gingerbread house in the middle of the appetiser/ salad area and all the special Christmas editions of the desserts! I bet words cant do them justice so let’s see it for yourself!

By the way, the napoleon and this chocolate mousse cake are our favourites! We were glad that we didnt follow the normal eating order: appetiser -> main course-> dessert! We actually did it the other way round. I mean, why not?! And after all, we were glad that we have made that choice too. Coz later we went back for more, the chocolate mousse cake was long gone! Oops! Early birds catch the worm, right?

In terms of food, the salad is so fresh along with a wide range of options regarding the sauce and fruit oil! You name it and you can find it! But I guess the highlight from that area would definitely be the ham and the cheese!

While we were waiting for our vegetable lobster bisque, we were also offered the special dish today — beef wellington! The staff would even remind us to eat it asap otherwise it wont taste as nice as it should when they saw us leaving that on the side for a while! How thoughtful was that!

I guess it must be better than the one made by the famous Chef Nic, right?Haha.
In terms of our main courses, we have ordered rib eye, tenderloin and prime rib.
All were medium rare as recommended. But we all reckon the rib eye would probably taste best among all.

We have tried so much different flavours today, ranging from raspberry, balsamic, chilli to garlic, which all complemented with the meat well. Love it!
In terms of drinks, we didnt add the wine package coz after all, it was only brunch. There were a number of juices offered. One highlight was this Yuzu Spring.
