Heard from a friend there's a family-run fusion restaurant that he visits often called Lam's Kitchen. They are able to customize the menu according to customer's needs and provide international cuisine. Impressive food quality!! Impossible in HK to pay only this price to have hand sliced Iberico ham, perfectly cooked mussels and homemade thick charsiu etc. Absolutely the best deal in town.
They're also selling their own brand of CNY puddings and sauce gift pack at a very cheap price. Got to try their chili sauce which has no MSG, and light-colored XO sauce made with dried scallops, shrimps, salted fish and cured ham etc that differs from the typical ones.
Spoke to the owner during the meal. Amazed by their patience in communicating with guests and the flexibility on the menu. Really appreciate that they focus on serving the food as it is by cooking to the best without adding meaningless decorations. Very down-to-earth, passionate and hearty restaurant. Highly recommended!
