Having travelled to Mexico a few years ago leaves me craving for tacos and all kinds of delicacies one can find in a Mexican street. Thanks goodness there's Mr Taco Truck! So far I have only tried their taco (normal size and super size), nachos, churro, hot chocolate, and beer (Sol!!)I would definitely recommend taco with carnitas, which is the filling you usually get in the streets of Mexico City. I would definitely recommend taco with carnitas, which is the filling you usually get in the streets of Mexico City.
Super taco is slightly larger, with guacamole (who don't LOVE guacamole?). I prefer the ordinary size better, simply because it's more close to the size in Mexico. It's small, but also full of flavours. Although, it would be even better if the carnitas is more juicy. Make sure you put lime juice!
Was very happy to find Sol (beer), which is very popular in Mexico. Love it!
Churro is one of my favourite food items in Mexico. It's different from the ones they have in Spain. In Mexico it's usually hollow, and you can choose your filling, e.g. Chocolate, or some kind of milk liqueur. In Spain you usually have dippings instead. It surprised me to find the churros in Mr Taco Truck to be more like the Spanish one. It's a bit oily. But if you have a few people to share with, it's still a nice dessert to conclude a satisfying meal.
I would definitely visit again and again!
