I always like going to this restaurant for Teppanyaki but the teppanyaki rooms were all reserved that night so we were seated at the private room that holds up to 4 ppl (with no teppanyaki table) that evening. Which is even better because we could chat easily and we didn't have to be soaked in the smell of teppanyaki. I would recommend the Scallop which was pretty tasty and huge and their Toro & spring onion & sesame Handroll is one of my favourite. I also tried their in-house special which was a crispy spicy mixed sashimi wrapped in seaweed. I like the combination of the soft and crisp texture. The crispy stuff is from the tempura.
Grilled Cod-fish is marinated in miso paste. It goes well with the mayonnaise provided. I've tried Cod-fish from other restaurants but mostly are very oily. I think they controlled it very well.
Abalone was expensive $1500 but worth a try. We asked them to serve two ways - sliced and cubes. I think both are good in its way. You'll have to try it to see which you prefer.
Seafood Tea Pot Clear Soup was very nice but i spilled it every time i pour it onto the small cup. I think they should either separate the ingredients and the soup but the taste was good.
Lastly, you have to try their sesame ice-cream. very rich in flavour but not too sweet.
Although it came down to roughly $1000 per person which was pretty pricey but it was still an enjoyable dinner.
