As a southeast asian myself, I’ve been looking for such a rich-flavored shrimp noodle soup broth in my 9 years in HK and by far, this is the only place that I’ve been where the soup is not bland and the taste is just exquisite and the noodles reminds me of my home town whenever I eat it. They also put some fried pig’s fat (“bak yu phok” in Hokkien) on top, which is very typical in southeast asia (although some restaurants put it in a separate container like a condiment for you to add however much you want), but still, I’ve never seen another restaurant providing it with this kind of food in HK and I really really appreciate it.
I always come here usually once a week now and I’d really recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a genuine southeast asian food. Definitely a must have, if you miss home...
