A restaurant with great food and service at a very reasonable price.Lunch in the North Point neighbourhood can sometimes be a typical Yum Cha or a regular noodle place. Walked into Wharf Street brings us to Eve Bistro. A westernised storefront drew my girlfriend and my attention. Took a peek at the lunch menu raised my appetite. A warm welcoming interior decor makes us forget we are still in Hong Kong. We ordered a Slow Cooked Sirloin Beef (8oz) and a Homemade beef burger with Sweet Potato Fries

A westernised storefront drew my girlfriend and my attention. Took a peek at the lunch menu raised my appetite. A warm welcoming interior decor makes us forget we are still in Hong Kong.
We ordered a Slow Cooked Sirloin Beef (8oz) and a Homemade beef burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Together with a complimentary Pumpkin Soup. Topped with an Apple Crumble Cheesecake.
The pumpkin soup was a creamy yet a flavourful pumpkin taste at the tip of the tongue.
Teriyaki Sauce on New Zealand Sirloin Beef was served at an optimum medium rare with japanese rice and mixed vegetables. A juicy yet tender Sirloin Beef topped with a teriyaki sauce was surprisingly delicious. Japanese rice adds to the japanese flavour. Mixed vegetables reminds us to eat healthy.
My girlfriend had ordered the Homemade Beef Burger with sweet potato fries. A fresh and toasty bun with a thin layer of crab roll continued with the japanese flavour. Homemade beef patty was excellent, not mushy, nor chewy. Cheddar cheese satisfied my girlfriend’s crave for cheese. A very crispy sweet potato fries was not greasy.
Both of us were full by the time we finished the mains. My girlfriend demanded for a dessert. The Apple crumble cheesecake to finish off our lunch exploration. It was good but not great. A commercial standard cheesecake base, however the apple crumble topping was on the soggy side.
Overall, I would recommend to pay a visit for the Japanese-Western fusion creativity. Will definitely come back to try out dinner.
