After its success and popularity in Sham Shui Po, their second branch is now open in Tin Hau for all you HK Islanders. — Rice Vermicilli in Crab Paste and Tomato Soup ($50) —
I would say that this is probably one of the most iconic dishes of the restaurant simply because it’s popular and unique. The huge block of crab paste ensures adequate flavour and the soup is also very rich. There are a lot of other ingredients included as well!
— Pho with Pulled Chicken in Clear Soup Broth ($55) —
Another dish that I noticed a lot of people ordering was this. The pulled chicken was plentiful and the soup was refreshing, especially with the addition of herbs into it.
— Vietnamese Rice Rolls ($20 for 1)
The rice rolls were wrapped in leaves that you can peel off as you’re eating. It’s bursting with a variety of ingredients and goes particularly well with the homemade sauce.
— Pandan Pudding ($13) —
At such a price, the pandan pudding is not something you can miss for sure. The pudding is chewy and fragrant and leaves you wanting more. The inside is also gooey and contrasts with the harder exterior.
— Vietnamese Drip Coffee ($25) —
This is perhaps the best Vietnamese drip coffee that we’ve tried in HK thus far. In fact, it was so rich and so good that we bought a bag of coffee powder back home to brew.
— Coconut ($25) —
And of course, how can I resist a refreshing coconut to tie together my meal?
