Beware of a dishonest waiter

We ordered a set dinner $388 plus 2 steam rice. When we asked for the bill, it came out $588. My father-in-law just gave the waiter his credit card. But I figured out something is not right. Then he came with the credit card slip for my father-in-law's signature. Then I asked for the invoice showing the items breakdown. The waiter immediately told me that that's the next table's bill. But he already got authorization code from the credit card company just waiting for us to sign the slip,

We ordered a set dinner $388 plus 2 steam rice. When we asked for the bill, it came out $588. My father-in-law just gave the waiter his credit card. But I figured out something is not right. Then he came with the credit card slip for my father-in-law's signature. Then I asked for the invoice showing the items breakdown. The waiter immediately told me that that's the next table's bill. But he already got authorization code from the credit card company just waiting for us to sign the slip, then he said he will void the transaction. He came back and gave us back the credit card slip and walked away, never look back at our table again. We waited and thought that he will bring another invoice but never, we had to ask another waiter and finally bill came HK$491. We think this waiter is trying to cheat us.
