As we have a sudden craving for Taiwanese food and walking past this stall, we decided to give it a try. Number One Beef Taiwanese Cuisine was located at Hennessy Road, few minutes walk from Wan Chai MTR.They offered a wide range of authentic Taiwanese cuisine such as soup noodles, rice, vegetables, snacks, desserts and drinks etc. Hot roselle honey was slightly sour and sweet in taste, suitable during this cool weather. They offered a wide range of authentic Taiwanese cuisine such as soup noodles, rice, vegetables, snacks, desserts and drinks etc.
Hot roselle honey was slightly sour and sweet in taste, suitable during this cool weather. Handcraft wintermelon tea was sweet and cooling, very clear.
Fried fish cake - It was fried till chewy and juicy, with the sweet sauce going well with the fish cake.
Braised pork spare ribs rice with black garlic - The gravy was spicy and flavourful, with black garlic in it, good for mixing the gravy to go along with the rice. Braised pork ribs was cooked till chewy and soft, easy to bite off from the ribs.
Szechuan style hot and spicy beef noodle - Soup was spicy and hot, with strong mala taste. Noodles was chewy and smooth, with the beef tender and juicy. The chef was generous with the portion of the beef, which was huge in size.
