Lemon Cafe was a bright yellow colored restaurant that I could spot from far away. As it was too hot outside to search for any other places to eat, we just decided to eat here. Everything was bright yellow. Yellow as a lemon. Your typical cha chan teng in the middle of Kwun Tong. And it was busy. VERY busy.Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10 % service charge. Boyfriend ordered the Beef Fried Rice ($49). A very hearty portion. Not heavily seasoned and not too oily. There were bits of beef that were soft enough without the any taste of meat softner.
I had the Deep Fried Chicken Thigh with Salad ($43). This was a very big thigh with lots of salad. The skin was very crunchy but the meat was dry. The salad was ok with not too much mayo to make it watery. Service for this was fast. I ordered and they immediately placed my order down.
Big portions and service is fast. Food is average but at least a fair price. I can understand why it was so busy.
