Met boyfriend in Tsuen Wan as we wanted to check out the new Dondondonki. We decided to eat at the new OP Mall and found Momoku. It appeared to serve Korean food for a rather reasonable price.During lunch time, they only have a lunch menu available. They do have a lot of choices. Menu in English and Chinese. Boyfriend ordered a baked pork chop and hot spring egg with rice and cheddar cheese ($56). The cheese was SUPER stretchy. I just stretched on and on and on! It was not too bad. Really cheesy. The pork chop was not dry at all. Very tender and well seasoned.
I had the deep fried chicken in sweet chilli sauce with noodles in pork bone soup ($52). You have a choice of udon or vermicelli. I decided on udon. This came in a big bowl with a lot of udon! It even came with an egg. The noodles were ok. Chewy and not over cooked. The soup was basically MSG and didn't have much pork taste.
The chicken was fairly ok. Meat was tender. The sauce was more sweet than spicy. It was evenly coated.
Portion size was fairly large and food was decent enough. Not great but decent enough. Place was very busy and service was very scattered. It seemed they kept getting orders mixed up.
