Came here last September with the same group of friends and had a notably nice lunch. Attentive service, superb steak, reasonable cost. After last Tuesday have to admit this time we would have been better served by going to McDonalds.Showed up 10 minutes early for our reservation and were obviously putting everybody out by asking to get our seats in an empty restaurant. Then sneakily pushed two $55 bottles of water (made to seem complimentary). House beer was flat, sweet and generally cruddy ($7
Showed up 10 minutes early for our reservation and were obviously putting everybody out by asking to get our seats in an empty restaurant. Then sneakily pushed two $55 bottles of water (made to seem complimentary). House beer was flat, sweet and generally cruddy ($70), steak was a gristly slab, but at least cooked to our request. Bill placed on table before we asked, then we had a protracted discussion with the apparent manager as to whether we would get our (included) set-lunch coffee at the end.
Change of management? Bad day?
A joyless mess.
