Recent years, there are tons of amazing restaurants being opened in Yuen Long. Everybody comes here to explore the nice and earnestly small enterprises. I am so glad because I live nearby in Yuen Long. I am so glad because I live nearby in Yuen Long. Last time, I walked past Yau Shan Street - the heaven of affordable street food, I saw the interesting name “Good Morning Restaurant”, it arose my interests, so today I grabbed my friend to try their Italian style food.
At the beginning, they offered us some pieces of raspberry bread for free with the olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar for dipping the bread. However, I guess the pieces of bread were a little bit overcooked and the surface of it was burnt.
In the Italian style restaurant, how could we not order Minestrone which is mixed vegetables soup, the ingredients were quite a lot which consisted of onions, cucumbers, carrots, and so on. However, it was not so thick, I like a thicker texture. It tasted like sweet vegetable and a little bit white pepper.
For the main course, I had grilled Blackhogs Pork Chop with baked tomatoes and grilled zucchini. I like the meat cooked medium well, so it tasted better for me. I like the pinky color. The sauces were tomatoes sauce and black pepper sauce, which combined well.The portion of the Pork Chop was quite big for average size.
Last but not least, the drink that I had was Lemon Water that was not so bad, but a little bit sweet. By the way, it takes cash only and 10% services charge.
