Donki is every-expanding, from one shop at causeway bay to more and more year by year, this tells you a lot how irresistible Donki is to the all of us! I originally only planned to go to Donki for some window shopping but since you will have to manoeuvre around the whole store and be subjected to their main theme song, you will feel frustrated enough to think you deserve some treats after this experience haha! I got myself the omelette pork cutlet soba noodles ($52) after some hard time deciding

I got myself the omelette pork cutlet soba noodles ($52) after some hard time deciding, it also came with a pack of delicious teriyaki sauce for the cutlets. That was not the only thing I got, I was choosing among a range of desserts and I couldn’t pick if I preferred the original mille crepe cake more or the limited edition chestnut one so guess what? I went for the twin pack ($67) which is in fact more cost effective. I was curious as to how many layers there were and I assayed to count but of course it was a futile attempt lol. The layers of crepe were as thin as the layers of cream, milk based cream for the original flavour and chestnut based cream for the lovely chestnut cake. Although the food is just placed under a warm light at Donki, and desserts in the fridge, the food when taken home still taste perfectly well except for its heating up needed. I hope Donki will retain this chestnut cake cause I will come back specifically for it again.
