Central is a place with lots of restaurants but not really a place with food court, until now! Heard about this new food court in central at the basement of Jardine House, so decided to venture into it!It’s a nice little food court with several food options around, very nicely decorated with some American vibe and lots of staff around! It’s a nice little food court with several food options around, very nicely decorated with some American vibe and lots of staff around! We decided to try this burger place, seeing its name feeling like a locally owned burger place, Honbo!
The ordering is pretty simple; choose your burger, choose a side, and a drink! There are meals selection as week including the sides and drinks. We decided to go for the Cheese Burger and obviously have to try the burger with it’s own name, the Honbo Burger. For the sides we had Fries and the Coleslaw, and we picked the Mike’s Lemonade for our drinks.
The Cheese Burger was really nice with a thicker beef patty and more ingredients compared to the Honbo burger. The beef patty was nicely done and goes well with the house sauce. The bun was slightly toasted too which was neat. The Honbo burger on the other hand, had thinner beef patties but there were 2 of them, so not really missing out. Quite similar to the cheese burger but without lettuce. The fries were OK as well as the Coleslaw. Portion for the coleslaw could be a bit bigger though. The Lemonade was very nice! Definitely worth a try!
Definitely worth checking out this new foodcourt hotspot in Central and also this burger place~!
