Because I'm from San Francisco, I was way excited to find out there's a SF mission style burrito place in Hong Kong! The place is very small with a long bar table and another 2 tables along the side. The decor is nice and the seats are pretty comfortable. If you are from the US, this place and the menu reminds you a lot like chipotle but just a lot smaller. I got the "bowl" because I want to see and distinctively try out all the ingredients. There are 5 types of meat to choose from and also 4 types of salsa that you want in it. Then you get to choose what kind of beans as well. I chose the smoky chipotle BBQ chicken for the meat and corn green chili in replace of salsa then black beans to go with it. The bowl also comes standard with romaine lettuce on the bottom, then cilantro rice on top of it. For the chicken, it's actually shredded chicken and then flavored with Mexican seasoning. The chicken is flavorful with a hint of spiciness. The corn chili is actually not spicy and the corn is very sweet. Good combination with the meat and beans. The black beans are also cooked with some onions so it also added a lot of flavors to the bowl. The cilantro rice has a strong hint of lemon juice in it which makes it very refreshing to eat. Then the lettuce adds crunchiness to the whole bowl. There's also a drizzle of sour cream and shredded cheese to top it all off. I personally wish there were more cheese with it. Over all, this is probably the best Mexican food I've had in hk so far. But in comparison to the real SF mission style, Little Burro still has a long way to go. Also, the price is a little steep for the amount of food you get and the added sides are also very overpriced (such as guacamole for extra $25). But nonetheless, Little Burro would be the place to be if I'm craving some fast Mexican food in HK.
