Had dinner upstairs at NOM last Saturday and had a glimpse of this restaurant at night. It looked pretty cool. It was open for lunch today so I popped in to see what the deal is. They offer ramen set lunches with various sides. I chose the ebi ramen with fried oysters (128 HKD). The soup base was thick and flavourful with the taste of prawns. The soup base was thick and flavourful with the taste of prawns. It was a tad too rich for me personally, as I felt a little queasy after having about half the bowl. But it was by no means bad. The ramen noodles was a generous helping. Unlike other ramen joints in town, there wasn't an option to have the ramen noodles harder or softer. But they were nicely al dente here anyway. I had an onsen egg with the ramen as well, which was a tad too cold as it was served about 5-6 minutes before the ramen arrived.
The fried oysters were big, plump and juicy but a little too oily. I
