The big waiter was the only good thing to come out of this restaurant. He was nice cordial and friendly. The food and the cashier lady were the absolute worst service in all of Hong Kong. The big waiter was the only good thing to come out of this restaurant. He was nice cordial and friendly. The food and the cashier lady were the absolute worst service in all of Hong Kong. And in a city where service is the worst in all of developed cities, that is no small feat. The medium rare steak my friend ordered took awfully long to arrive. It came ten minutes after my salmon, which by the way was barely warm, indicating it was mostly likely cooked well in advanced. The steak finally came seared on one side such that it curved upward off the plate. He didn't have to cut through to know it was not only overcooked but also fully cooked. He cut through anyway because we needed to tell the nice waiter. He was understanding and apologetic and took the plate back. The second attempt was a cheeky response from the kitchen. It came back barely cooked. It was seared on the outside but the inside was entirely raw. My friend cut it in half and put a finger on the dead center of the steak. The temperature wasnt even room temperature. It had a dark red color and didn't even release juices. There was n chance he was going to eat the steak. Cutting our losses, we left to go to but not after telling our waiter to make sure we get a discount. We reached the cashier only to be confronted with an offensive attitude condemning us for ordering the steak and not eating it raw or fully cooked. She insisted that there will be no discount and the only concession she was willing to give us was to wait for the kitchen to try a third attempt at failing to cook a steak.

In Chinese one mistake is allowed. The same mistake made twice is stupid. And the third mistake is really stupid. And the fourth time can only be intentional.. today was my second time eating at this restaurant. Needless to say, I should have learned from my first mistake.
