It seems that To Kwa Wan is undergoing a revitalization process with the new subway line in construction. There are more and more coffee shops in the hood that worth a visit. On the Hill Coffee Bar is one of them. It has been on my to go list since it opened not long ago, and I decided to pay a visit on a Friday afternoon for my kind of coffee happy hour.I ordered a piece of carrot cake with a cup of flat white. I ordered a piece of carrot cake with a cup of flat white. The flat white was amazing. I love fruity flat white.
And the carrot cake? Simply fantastic! Probably the best I have had so far in town. The butter cream just got my heart and topped up the flavor of the cake so much! Texture of the cake was very enjoyable too, moist but not overly dense and stuffing. Shreds of carrot in the cake was surprisingly good too! Definitely recommend you to grab a piece!
Bonus point, during my visit, staff were baking new round of cakes which smelled so good! Surrounded by a hygge atmosphere that made me want to visit again. On the Hill Coffee Bar is a friendly coffee shop with outdoor dog-friendly seating area, and work friendly indoor seating area. You are welcome to bring a book or notebook to visit.
