Supreme pizza ($128?)
might as well be vegetarian - a delicate mix of artichokes, olives and mushrooms with bits of sausage scattered throughout with a good amount of mozzarella. especially like their thin crust which is always crisp on the edges.
Chicken sausage pizza (under $100)
mostly meatball, cheese and tomato sauce. flavorful, and meat is surprisingly leaner than expected. although not mentioned on the menu the crust seems slightly thicker than that of the supreme pizza. good for a veg-phobic, but not my personal favorite.
Pasta (most are $75)
the one pictured here is penne with some cream sauce - I didn't order nor taste this, cannot comment. I have howveer had their volcano shrimp spaghetti ($90) - shrimps are quite small but nicely sauteed with garlic, and the spaghetti is thinner than regular spaghetti, in fact I think it's more like spaghettini. The pasta is stir-fried with finely diced onions, bell peppers and basil, very flavorful. however the portions of the pastas in general are quite small.
Sandwich
Chicken parmigiana ($68) is the one pictured here - breaded and baked (not fried, surprisingly - the traditional parmigiana is breaded and fried). the chicken in this sandwihc is more tender than the one in the grilled chicken ciabatta ($60) which I usually order. I prefer ciabatta bread to this sesame-topped bun. The tomato sauce served compliments the breaded chicken well. The portions of sandwiches in my opinion are more satisfying than the pastas.
Smoked salmon bagel ($75)
If I remember accurately they use lox salmon. generous layers of cream cheese on their own (freshly baked, i'd like to think) plain bagel. it's good, but honestly this doesn't take much work - it's just arrangement of quality ingredients that makes this dish good.
Service is also good - attentive staff, polite and friendly.
Menu is impressively more extensive since recent change.
Overall a pleasant place for bistro food, at very good prices too.
BTW, there's free parking if you spend over a certain (small, I think $400?) amount - just ask.
