Recently, I started to get their breakfast set as takeaways on my way to work. I really like their warm croissant and muffin set, and their coffee is decent. But after the experience this morning, I don’t think I will go back again.For the first two or three times, they gave me a discount for bringing my own cup, but today it was a different lady at the cashier, and she didn’t provide the discount, so I asked if there’s a discount for bringing my own cup (I didn’t tell her that I received discou
For the first two or three times, they gave me a discount for bringing my own cup, but today it was a different lady at the cashier, and she didn’t provide the discount, so I asked if there’s a discount for bringing my own cup (I didn’t tell her that I received discount from the previous times I came), and she asked the barista about it, in the end they did give me the discount, HOWEVER, that cashier lady kept nagging to the barista about it in Cantonese!
I found it really unprofessional and it gave the customer a bad impression. I don’t mind the discount, just explain nicely, I wasn’t “ordering you”, I was just asking. If you’re a service provider, please be professional, if you want to nag, don’t do it in front of your customers.
By the way, the barista and the trainee are super nice, they are very professional, the barista always keeps eye contact with the customers, not like this cashier lady, she’s probably been working at the shop for awhile and she has an attitude. I really hope the management is aware of this.
