Apparently this is a favorite among the residents in this area. According to the photos, on the wall, this place has been opened for a long time and is a staple in this community. Small and cramped, this was your typical busy cha chan teng. Menu is in Chinese only.

It was also interesting to see that each table had a bottle filled with water. At first we thought someone had left it behind but then we noticed each table had one. And people were pouring it into their glasses to drink!

I ordered an afternoon tea set of French toast and an ice lemon tea ($28). Pretty cheap! The French toast was quite good. There was peanut butter in the middle. It was generously doused with condensed milk and a slab of melting butter. The bread was lightly coated with egg so it was not too heavy and dense when it was fried. Pretty delicious!

I  can understand why it's so popular here. The prices are cheap. The food was quite decent and arrived fast as well. The ice tea was not that great.
