We visited on Saturday afternoon, it was fairly empty, which together with the background music and bright, open atmosphere, gave it a nice laid-back feel. Between the 2 of us we had 6 dishes, plus an unlimited drink set each. Saizeriya is unashamedly cheap and cheerful, in a good way. Saizeriya is unashamedly cheap and cheerful, in a good way. There is a large choice of Italian/European-style food, and while each serving is not large, they're cheap enough that it's perfectly reasonable to mix 2 or 3 dishes for a meal.
I had a seaweed salad, which was fresh and crispy, with a creamy dressing, and a 'double-cheese' margherita pizza (aka cheese-and-tomato, or plain), which was pleasantly cheesy, with semi-thick bread which was unfortunately slightly dry.
My partner had clam chowder, which tasted good, and had chunks of meat and vegetable to add texture, spicy chicken wings, which were apparently lacking in spice, clams which were well-seasoned, and didn't have any empty shells, and broccoli and mushroom, which was a little salty, but not overly so.
We both had the drink set, which for the price of a drink in some restaurants (and much less than the price in others!) gives unlimited access to the soft drink bar. They have a hot drink machine which dispenses coffee, chocolate and milk tea, hot and cold water and a selection of tea bags, and a soda fountain with a selection of Pepsi, sweet tea, orange and cream soda. The hot chocolate particularly went down well, but it would be nice to have a sugar-free soda option.

the restaurant doesn't have its own bathroom, but the ones nearby in the mall are clean and quiet.
