As a churros lover, I have been many restaurants/ fast food shops serving good quality churros but end up close down due to Covid. Knowing Twist & Buckle opened in HK island, I immediately travelled to cure my crave🤭They serve variety of flavours and some even serving with ice cream. I didn't pick anything special but their classic, cinnamon sugar and adding on the Nutella dipping sauce. And WOW!🤩 Their churros didn't disappoint me! And WOW!🤩 Their churros didn't disappoint me! Freshly made and even keeping in the paper bag for hours, they weren't even soggy and making the whole bag greased up! You could tell their quality just by the paper bag sitting there for hours😂
Going into deep now, churros dough was authentic! Crunchy on the outside with little chewy inside. The sprinkled cinnamon sugar was nicely coated. So well coated that literally nothing dropped on the paper bag that's going to the waste. Cinnamon sugar was in a nice balance flavour that you could smell and taste the cinnamon. Not overly sweet. Nutella was well melted. Pairing with the churros was a bonus but churros on its on was already heavenly good!
A genuine surprise! Even eating two big churros still make you crave for more😂 A quality original churros! I must come back! For their classic so as their flavoured ones🤩
