We used to come here a lot when we were kids- I would order the chicken spaghetti in white sauce and my brother would order at least 3 bowls of ox tongue soup. My mum loved the chicken thigh in Swiss sauce; my dad the tomato beef rice. Of course we would finish all the bread first. So to reminisce, we decided to come here for lunch today. Most of the waiters we knew had left. I was a bit disappointed as my spaghetti didn’t taste as good as I remembered. It got cold really fast, the white sauce tasted bland. The pork chop rice was good though. Meat of the Chicken thigh was soft and tender but personally the Swiss sauce was a bit too sweet for me. To finish off we ordered the soufflé, which was a waste as the massive portion could feed at least 8 people. In summary, nice place to bring back childhood memories but I won’t be going back in the near future.
