With its high accessibility, Townhouse is always fully booked on Friday nights and weekends. This time, we were lucky to get a table without making a reservation in advance. We ordered three dishes, including crispy fries with black truffle mayonnaise, grilled sweet potato with bacon and cheese and 24-hr marinated chicken. The freshly deep-fried potatoes made a nice kick-off of the night. I’m sure that no one can resist crispy fries with truffle aroma all over your mouth.

The skewers might be a bit greasy because of the bacon and cheese. So, the sweet potatoes helped to balance the oily taste a bit. Overall, it was a nice try.

The 24-hr marinated chicken was completely evil! The golden brown color of the chicken will make you lick your lips once they are presented on the table! The chicken was crispy outside and tender inside. It was juicy as well. We just couldn’t stop once we had our first bite!

Instead of alcoholic drink, I ordered a non-alcohol one as I’m a lover of pandan. The pandan leaves & coconut (frozen) didn’t disappoint me! It was a perfect match! It reminded me of my great time in Thailand indeed.
Overall, Townhouse is a great place for Friday night if you are looking for not just drinks, but also scrumptious food and relaxing atmosphere.
