Time for chocolate again上次經過quarry bay時見到epoch, 想入去食甜點的但又太飽, 所以都係無去到幾日後, 在食家在留言中說epoch的7 layer chocolate cake一定要試而灣仔又有一間, 所以在上法文課前捉了朋友去了一趟我只ordered 7 layers chocolate cake而已其實是否有7層呢?可能有卦Layer 1 - a thin slice of dark chocolateLayer 2 - chocolate fudge (isn't it)? it isn't mousse, very strong dark chocolate flaovur.Layer 3 - hazelnut milk chocolate mousse / only choco mousse? very smooth layer, i think it balances the strong chocolate flavour of whole cake very well.Layer 4 - chocolate browines (

其實是否有7層呢?可能有卦
Layer 1 - a thin slice of dark chocolate
Layer 2 - chocolate fudge (isn't it)? it isn't mousse, very strong dark chocolate flaovur.
Layer 3 - hazelnut milk chocolate mousse / only choco mousse? very smooth layer, i think it balances the strong chocolate flavour of whole cake very well.
Layer 4 - chocolate browines (isn't it) ? a very moist chocolate cake, but not firm enough, too soft for this layer.
Layer 5 - chocolate fudge again
Layer 6 (the bottom) - a crispy bottom with strong flavour. It make the cake to have richer texture.
Where is the 7th layer? may be i forgot one layer, no clue for this, but this waa masterpiece that they put somany different chocolate products into one piece of cake and just make it happen which is very impressive. and this "Valrhona" chocolate is very good indeed, not too sweet and not bitter.
Best describ: Chocolate + Delicious = "Chocolatelicious"
i wanna try out other product like Opera and any hot chocolate drinks next time. Opera was the most attractive cake in the display cabinet, for me only.
