Since I submitted my votes in for the 2017 Openrice restaurant awards, I was awarded with a free box of chocolates from Lucullus. Pretty cool, huh?I went to one of the places listed to pick it up and when I arrive and showed them my pick up letter, the staff kept saying "gems gems gems". Confuse, I had no idea what they were saying.Well, when I opened my box of chocolates, I realized what it meant. The box of chocolates was called gems.The box had a nice soft cover. Well, when I opened my box of chocolates, I realized what it meant. The box of chocolates was called gems.
The box had a nice soft cover. It opened up like a trunk.
Inside was six almond shaped chocolates. They were colored and did look oddly like gems.
The box of chocolates included a card explaining what they were.
The chocolates were interesting for when you bit into them, there seemed to be a liquid filling in them. The strangest was the banana. Though chocolate and banana do go well together, I wasn't quite sure on the banana cream filling. The best was perhaps the orange one as I like orange with chocolate. The most interesting was the grapefruit one as I didn't think it would work but oddly, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
